Several Greene County Middle School classes recently enjoyed the outdoors at Spring Brook State Park. Students rotated from math, reading, science, and social studies where each class had an emphasis on ecology and environmental science. They wrote about their observations, acted out life in nature using math, identified biotic factors and relationships between them, as well as using a GPS to navigate through the park.
The day was coordinated by teacher Spencer Bauer.
